I highly (!) recommend stopping by in my beloved Bilbao and taking some time to admire the Basque Country when we are on your way heading down to Lisbon. One of the best places to do that is San Juan de Gaztelugatxe in Bermeo. Should be one the way. Do not miss it .
Where is Romania? lol )
Where is Bucharest? If you are not going to Romania, why are you talking about “Europe”?
Why Romania? They don´t belong to EU but Turkey and Istanbul is more EU than Romania…It is very interesting to see how starry-eyed some people in Europe are. They speak about Eu and they have no idea about it. nice idea, but this with Romania was a good point.
This is not an inquiry about the EU, but about Europe (without defining its limits here). Due to time and money constraints, we tried to find a balanced mix of countries that also allows young people at the “borders” of Europe to raise their voice. Thx for any constructive comments.
Ok it’s not about EU but about Europe. I still can understand what is Istanbul (Turkey) is doing in Europe?
And where is Cyprus on the list? Cyprus is a country and not a greek island
Looking forward to seeing you in Rome! I really like your project and wish you lot’s of fun and insights while travelling.
Cooles Projekt, viel Glueck dabei (vor allem in London;-))
Hi all!
I would be interested to know how your trip is going so far. What are the biggest differences you have seen between the countries you have visited by now?
Thank you. Ciao!
Mattheo
Hey Mattheo!
Trip is going well! Quite difficult to get a good grasp of what is going on in only a few days in each country.
Well, there are certainly some tendencies. For example, many British people do have some troubles with feeling attached to the Europe, it seems, more than Dutch or Belgian people. But it is also true that we have met lots of very open-minded and pro-European young in every country.
We will definitely have to tell you more soon!
Keep us posted.
Looking forward to seeing you in Belgrade!
It is sad to see that the road trip went through all EU countries except Cyprus (having the presidency of the council until december 2012).
Why is it always lie this and cyprus is never mentioned in any of the EU discusions.
Forgot to mention that the road trip even went to turkey and serbia, no member countries and forget as well Romania
